Frequently Asked Questions
How are my jobs posted to The Washington Post?
ATS SCRAPPING: You give us the URL to your job board, and we automatically pull (aka 'scrape') jobs from your ATS and post them on washingtonpost.com/jobs.
Or
MANUALLY: You log on to Washingtonpost.com/jobs and use your available credits to post a job.
How does the ATS scraping process work?
You provide us with the URL for your website, from which jobs will be scraped. If you would like The Washington Post to host your FTP location, please provide us with the IP addresses needed to access the file. You provide us with any rules or restrictions on which jobs should be retrieved from your site.
How do I access the applicant resumes?
Accessing your applicant resumes depends on how candidates apply. Candidates applying through your ATS will be directed to your site to submit their resumes and corresponding documents. Candidates applying through washingtonpost.com/jobs will have their resumes stored on our site, which you can access through your employer profile.
